Over 40 years ago we decided that children’s books deserved more space than the usual two bookcases in most general bookstores. That was the beginning of the first children’s bookstore in Holland: De Kinderboekwinkel in Amsterdam. And today, we operate two stores! One near the Anne Frank House (Rozengracht 34) and another near the Spui (Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 344). Both stores are popular with Dutch customers as well as with an increasing number of foreign visitors, all looking for that one unique and perfect children’s book! That is why we now include children’s books in English in our assortment as well. And, because we know how difficult it can be to choose the right book from the enormous (and ever growing!) supply of children’s books, on this page we present you with our selection of the best titles for different ages.
